How long have you been in business?
Avondale Galleries opened September 1, 1983. In Nichols Hill Plaza and moved 30 years later.
We are located in North Penn Plaza directly across the street from the Cheese Cake Factory west of Penn Square.
What is your primary product or service?
Avondale Galleries is the only full service Fine Art Gallery in the State of Oklahoma, we currently handle 100's of American and European Award winning artist. We specialize in Art Restoration and Fine Art Appraisals, for Insurance Companies, as well as the general public. Custom Framing and Art Fraud for the Insurance Companies and the General Public.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started painting at the early age of 5 was inspired by Oklahoma Artist John Metcalf and watched John paint in his studio quite often, and started collecting paintings prior to 10 years of age, by 17 years of age I was representing local artist and started selling lower end original paintings by Mary Fiegel. here in Oklahoma City.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Avondale Galleries is the only known full service Fine Art Gallery in the state of Oklahoma. Specializing in Fine Art Appraisals, Fine Art Restoration, Excellent Custom Framing, we currently represent artist from around the world.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Avondale Galleries is currently located in North Penn Plaza, 5617 N. Penn Ave. Oklahoma City, Okla 73112. This is our third location since 1978. We have no plans to open addition locations.
